Students
The teen years can be tough for students. They need the support of Christian friends and adult leaders who love them and who will be there for them when they need them. New Hope Community Church is just such a place. New Hope has an active youth ministry for students in the 6th-12th grade. We have an outstanding group of adult leaders who love to teach, serve and just hang out with students. Most importantly, we have a great group of teenagers who love Jesus and each other. Our youth meetings are fun, laid-back and full of surprises. We study the Bible and pray together. We share our hopes, dreams and disappointments. And we laugh, a lot!
Our goal is simple. To help students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to become more like him.
Our strategy is also simple. We seek to create experiences where students ENCOUNTER God through worship, EXPLORE their faith through small group discussions and Bible study, and ENGAGE the world through service and missions projects. We also believe that joy is an important part of being a Christian, so we do our best to always have FUN!!
Our youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm in the far end of the church office building (which is the brick house just up the hill from the worship center). A light meal (hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza) is served starting at 6:15. We usually do something fun after we eat and then have Bible study and prayer time at 6:45.
